Jeneva Rose is nowhere near done with Sarah Morgan. The Perfect Divorce author recently told the press how she plans to expand her star character who has catapulted Rose into a new realm of publishing.
Jeneva wrote The Perfect Marriage as a passion project. She developed Sarah and her then-husband Adam on the weekends and when she had time away from her full-time job. Sarah and Adam were released into the world in 2020 when The Perfect Marriage made its debut. Five years later and The Perfect Divorce is Sarah’s life continued.
In Jeneva Rose’s latest book, Sarah is married to Bob eleven years after the drama that was her first marriage. She immediately files for divorce after getting wind of her husband’s one-night stand to keep from repeating the past (as you may recall, Adam maintains an affair for two years and needs his wife’s help as defense attorney when his mistress turns up dead in The Perfect Marriage).
The past, however, catches up with her as aspects from more than a decade ago begin to show up in Sarah’s life. What is the story behind the third DNA sample that allegedly solved the case with Adam and his mistress? Is there more to the equation? The Perfect Divorce explores these questions and seeks to provide answers.
Some assumed Jeneva Rose’s latest thriller is the second and final book of her Perfect Marriage series. The author, however, is far from done with her beloved main character.
“I’m not done with [Sarah],” Rose recently told the press. “There’s so much for her as a character and her growth,” she continued.
“What happens when she has a daughter that’s a teenager and can no longer be a child that everything is hidden from? What happens when that daughter finds out everything that their mother has done in order to protect them?”
Both The Perfect Marriage and The Perfect Divorce are available online and in bookstores nationwide.
