Hoda Kotb has a new book coming out! The former TODAY host shared the news of her forthcoming nonfiction, Jump and Find Joy, with social media fans this past Monday (Mar. 10).
“Excited,” Hoda exclaimed in the caption of a picture that featured her forthcoming book’s cover. Several fans asked how they could preorder the book while others followed the link in Kotb’s Instagram bio to purchase her latest creation.
“Loved your last book,” one social media praised the television personality. “Re-reading it now,” they added. “One day at a time.”
Fans were surprised at Hoda Kotb’s decision to leave TODAY after the co-host spent years on the show. “My time at NBC has been the longest professional love affair of my life,” Kotb wrote in a message shared on TODAY’s Instagram page last September. “But only because you’ve been beside me on this twenty-six-year adventure,” she continued in celebration of her supporters.
“One thing I know for sure right now is this: everything’s going to be just fine,” Kotb assured her fans. “The Peacock’s feathers are never ruffled … No matter who comes or goes. TODAY and its amazing people — all of you — never waver. You always weather change with grace and guts.”
Hoda Kotb promised to “remain a part of the NBC family” in her September message. She echoed the notion of the network significantly influencing her life when speaking with PEOPLE about her new book.
“I think the common thread is everyone’s kind of showing their underbelly a little bit, their vulnerable part, the piece of them that a lot of times you try to push away and hide. And I feel like that’s so important. With Savannah, she did it with her book, Mostly What God Does. And Jenna does it with all of her books, and Jenna’s, just, daily life is very open and free,” the former co-host shared.
“It’s like sometimes you just have to just be you, warts and all, man. This is it,” Kotb told PEOPLE. “This is what we’re about. It’s like what I say to my kids. I mess up all the time, and I make sure my kids see it because that’s what life is. It’s messing up and picking up. That’s it. Messing up and picking up and doing it all again.”
Jump and Find Joy will be available in bookstores nationwide on September 23, 2025
